Jessica Day George graduated from Brigham Young University, where she favored classes in Pottery and Old Norse to Algebra and Biology. Originally from Idaho, she now resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband, their young son, and a five-pound Maltese named Pippin. All she has ever wanted in this world is to read and write books. Her first two books, Dragon Slippers (2007) and Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow (2008), are Book Sense picks, both published by Bloomsbury. Dragon Flight, a Dragon Slippers sequel, will be published Spring 2008. Jessica also knits like a maniac, plays the piano and viola, and loves to travel and watch movies.
